Anamaria Voicu — Official Participant of The Continental Pageants Europe® 2024

My name is Anamaria Voicu and I represent the country of Romania. I am 35 years old, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and have a master’s degree on Stock Market Trading. I am and always have been a creative person and have fought hard to reach my goals, that’s why I encourage the up-and-coming young generation to be persistent, to follow their dreams and never stop believing in their strengths, intuition will always lead them to the job or business that suits them best.

In life, the ideal is to work in a field that you like, to do what you do with love and admiration, otherwise life can become a torment. No one will ever say it’s going to be easy, but step by step you will reach your goal. I had worked as a make-up artist then I started to create clothing as a fashion designer, I’ve found success in this field as well, I presented a few collections after that I fell in love with another field of working. I am currently a wedding planner; I have my own location and I organize weddings and other important events for my clients. Everything I had done in the past led me to where I am today. What I like most about this field is that you only deal with happy people who come to have fun, the positive energy is maintained throughout the whole event..

On the other hand, the most important event in their lives is in my hands, so I must prove my professionalism so that everything turns out perfectly and the bride and groom end up having the most beautiful wedding they could ever have imagined. 

In Romania, stray dogs are a real problem of everyday lives and as I have a soft spot for small animals, suffered a lot over time observing their torment, until I promised myself that I will do everything possible to solve this problem. Thus, together with animals associations , we rescued abandoned or homeless animals .we sterilize them and then we start  looking  to build a future for  them in other places and countries . I hope that in time, with people’s help, we will eliminate this problem. Animals, especially dogs, are very devoted, capable of loving you more than a human will ever do. No animal deserves to suffer.

I spend my free time dancing; I took part in various dance courses to help me discover as many dance styles as possible and to discover which ones suit me best. Dancing helps me relax, disconnect, and enjoy the moment. I advise everybody to discover their  passions and follow them,this being the only way to find your true potential in life.I also like to do sports; it helps me stay in shape when do it regularly.

Another passion of mine  is travelling, for me to travel is a way to calm the mind, to energize the soul…travel teaches us to appreciate and value cultural diversity, traditions… Other than what I had mentioned this far, I try to be grateful every day for what I am, to remain as feminine and natural as I have been until now.

From what I have observed, women misunderstand the term femininity, feminine beauty and choose to follow wrong models, resort to aggressive aesthetic operations believing that beauty means perfection, which leads them being increasingly dissatisfied and frustrated. Each of us has something unique and exactly this uniqueness transforms every woman into something divine.

The secret is to love yourself exactly as you are, to accept your flaws and to accept that you are all unique and special just the way you are.
